Chelsea have confirmed the arrival of Germany wonderkid Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen
He becomes the club's sixth major signing of an incredible transfer window, taking their total spending to an enormous £230million.
The move makes the 21-year-old the joint most expensive player ever signed by a British club, along with Paul Pogba, who joined Manchester United in 2016. The Premier League transfer record is £145m, which Liverpool received from Barcelona for Philippe Coutinho.
Havertz is also the most expensive German player of all time, and his signing also sees Chelsea smash their own transfer record. The £72m previously spent on goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who is now set to leave the club having failed to live up to his price tag.
This is the high-water mark on an incredible window for Chelsea, which has seen transfer chief Marina Granovskaia land all of the club's top targets.
Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner had already been secured before the window had opened, the Morocco international joining from Ajax for £38million, while Germany striker Werner arrived from RB Leipzig for £53m.
Both made their debuts during the friendly with Brighton on August 30, which saw fans allowed into the stadium at the AMEX to watch Premier League sides for the first time since March.
Malang Sarr and Thiago Silva have both been brought in on free transfers, while Ben Chilwell has also joined for £50m from Leicester City.
Frank Lampard's side begin their Premier League campaign on Monday September 14, when they visit Brighton once more.

I see every comment over hyping our team, yes we have signed some great players from all over the world, and yes in theorie we have a great squad, I just feel that it may take a little while to gel together as a team, we could be fielding literally half a new team nex season that has never played together, with barley any pre season, I feel that frank and marina have absolutely done a brilliant job and I thank Mr abramovich for his enormous investment in young talent for the future, but we were damn near 30 points off the leaders last season, I feel 3rd will be a good position to finish with eathe efl or fa cup and a last 8 or semi in Europe, for a new side finding there feet I'd be happy with that's, BUT, heaven hepl everyone in the 22/23 season, the players will have had 12 months together and will have clicked like a proper team, success wasn't built over night and as talented as our squad is, theres still the human eliment to be observed so expecting us to beat Liverpool and city next season over 38 games may be a Lil unrealistic just yet as those teams have been together for years and are also full of world class players, with only tweaks bieng made
