As expected, Kalidou Koulibaly has officially extended his contract with Napoli to June 2023.

The Senegal international put pen to paper on the deal, adding another two years to his current bond.
It’s reported the salary is bumped up to €3.5m per year and there is no release clause.
The 27-year-old defender joined the club from KRC Genk for €7.75m in the summer of 2014.
His value on the transfer market is now believed to be around €90m.

An absolutely right decision for the both parties as Napoli secure their future by extending the contract of an integral player who contributes extensively to the club.Koulibaly has always remained under the radar of many top football clubs who had been trying to take him away from Naples but by extending his contract he's shown that he's happy to play in the serie a for Napoli.
