Aston Villa's trip to Leeds on December 28 has been postponed after the Premier League accepted a request from the Yorkshire club amid their ongoing Covid outbreak and injury crisis.
Leeds' Boxing Day clash with Liverpool was scrapped earlier this week due to a surge in cases in Marcelo Bielsa's dressing room, with two other top flight fixtures due to take place today also postponed.
And the Premier League have confirmed that they have granted permission for Tuesday's game at Elland Road to be postponed as Leeds continue to battle with transmission of the virus at the club.
'The postponement is a result of the ongoing COVID-19 cases and injuries at Leeds which saw their Boxing Day match against Liverpool called off,' a Premier League statement read.
'The Board accepted the postponement application as the club does not have the required number of players available for the match (13 outfield players and one goalkeeper).'
