Lyon have denied reports that they have reached agreement with Real Madrid over Ferland Mendy transfer
'Olympique Lyonnais denies an agreement with Real Madrid for a possible transfer of its international defender Ferland Mendy, contrary to what has be relayed by some media', reads an official statement.
Reports early today suggest Mendy has taken part in Real Madrid medical ahead of a €50m move, but now Lyon's denial will see this saga last even longer.

No but seriously, it's like announcing dinner is served while the grub is still sizzling in the fire. Mendy is still a strong prospect especially as there seems to be some questions at left back with Marcelo not as performant as he used to be. Not too late for Mendy, in fact it's feasible & very welcomed.
