Hannibal has completed a permanent transfer from Manchester United to Championship side Burnley.
The 21-year-old has moved to the Clarets after spending five years at United.
The Tunisia international joined our youth system from Monaco in 2019, and has since gone on to make 13 first-team appearances for the club.
Hannibal became the 239th graduate from our Academy in 2021, when he made his first-team debut against Wolves, just three days after being named as our Denzil Haroun Reserve Player of the Year.
He scored his only senior goal for the Reds in 2023, netting from long range in a 3-1 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford.
In the 2022/23 season, the midfielder went on loan to Championship side Birmingham City, and he spent the second half of last term at Spanish outfit Sevilla.
After spending pre-season and the start of 2024/25 as part of Erik ten Hag's squad, he now joins Burnley, who are looking to make an instant return to the Premier League under new manager Scott Parker, following their relegation last term.
We wish you the best of luck with your next steps, Hannibal!

Loan would have been better until you are convinced that he can't make first team. it will be so sad if after playing good in Burnley. ManU now go back to buy him triple the money they sold him.
You people should be reading first before commenting. buy back clause and sale on clause including

you dump as do you know how many players do we have now instead of sending them for loans he's buzy selling so qt the end there will no youth to replace seniors if injury hits the club.
So do you think the loans you talked about They go for free or do you feel like the other clubs don’t have players better than those we sent on loans Or do you feel like it’s easy to fit into a new team ideology

whatever Tenhag is doing to Manu Is soon going to be a regret, almost 8 youth players sold and buying more youth instead of giving chance to those that are already there. #Tenhag-out
Wow good news with A very senseless comment

ETH is selling all academy graduates without giving them proper opportunities. Kudos to him!!
Then what you say about Mainoo? not consider chance

I like this instead of keeping players on the stands the whole season, sell even Altay Bayindir his career is being wasted please sell more am confident that now we are doing something just like Man City sell them for a better game time.
