El Pibe de Oro turns 59 next month and has struggled with ill health, but has still been active in some surprising clubs.
He was Coach of Fujairah SC in the UAE, then Honorary President of Dynamo Brest in Belarus, taking over as Coach of Mexican side Dorados de Sinaloa.
This evening, he confirmed his return to Argentina as new head coach of Gimnasia La Plata.
