OFFICIAL: Matheus Nunes injured, Samu Costa called up to Portugal national team

Matheus Nunes and Pedro Gonçalves have been released due to injury

Samuel Costa has been called up by Roberto Martínez for the double confrontation with Poland and Croatia.

The midfielder from RCD Mallorca was called up to cover for the absences of Matheus Nunes and Pedro Gonçalves, both injured while playing for their clubs and deemed unfit by the FPF Health and Performance Unit.

The squad has been reduced to 25 players.

Portugal, remember, will play the last two matches of the Nations League qualification phase against Poland (November 15, in Porto, Estádio do Dragão) and Croatia (November 18, in Split, Estádio Poljud).

Both matches will be held at 19:45 (Portuguese time).
