Newcastle United have signed Valentino Lazaro on loan for the rest of the season from Inter Milan.
The former Hertha Berlin wing back had failed to make an impact at San Siro, and was made surplus to requirements with the signings of Ashley Young and Victor Moses this month.
Lazaro was only signed last summer from the Bundesliga outfit for an estimated €22m, yet never fully convinced boss Antonio Conte.
The 23-year-old Austria international has joined on loan for a reported fee of €1.5m with option to buy at the end of the season for a further €23.5m.
Lazaro made six appearances in Serie A for the Nerazzurri.

Puzzling that Rafa was not given funds but Bruce is signing whoever he wants.
Rafa had funds he wasnt spending them we had the allan saint maximan deal agreed the window before rafa left but he wouldnt sanction the deal because he didnt think he was good enough

Newcastle literally have Miguel Almiron and Allan Saint-Maximin as outer options, signing Lazaro is just gonna make it so Newcastle will pretty much never have to worry about the LM/RM anymore, so dangerous, fast and talented to all of them!
Lazaro is more of a wing back and they struggle with that position
