Real Madrid have announced that Martin Odegaard will join Vitesse Arnhem on a loan deal for the 2018-19 season.
The 19-year-old signed for the Spanish giants in 2015 but has found game time limited at first-team level, making just one La Liga appearance before being sent out on loan.
Odegaard agreed to an 18-month loan deal with SC Heerenveen and played 38 Eredivisie appearances between 2016-18, scoring two goals during his time in the Dutch top flight.

Wasted talent. R. Madrid just want polished diamonds bcoz they are not good at nurturing young talent. Next is Vinicius jnr. Not sure if these youngsters actually follow football wherever they will be or that they think they are good enough to jus break into these teams without breaking a sweat. Or it's their agents who are not worried about the footballing aspect but their pockets. Young players should be more worried about playing football then the financial aspect follows and not the other way around. The Ronaldos, Messis of this world could not have made it to the top if they were not playing. So it's play time first. Back to this young man Did he really think he could play ahead of players like Kovacic, Assensio, Vasquez who have all found playing time hard to come by. Now he's playing where he should have been playing first for his development before jumping onto this Madrid ship. Good luck boy. Next time go to Ligue 1 and you won't regret coz there they nurture young talent.
