QPR have snapped up Spurs winger Jack Clarke on loan for the rest of the season.

The 19-year-old spent the first half of the season back with his first club Leeds United after joining Spurs in the summer for £7million but the deal was cancelled due to a lack of game time.

Clarke made just one appearance in the Championship, playing three times in all competitions.

And QPR have acted quickly in the January window to bring him to the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium in another temporary deal – and he could make his debut for them against Leeds at the weekend.

'I am delighted and looking forward to getting started,' he said. 'Hopefully I can kick on and help the team.

'I like to create chances, take people on, I'm very direct with the ball and love running with it.

He also highlighted the role of manager Mark Warburton in his decision to join QPR: 'I spoke to Mark a fair few times.

'He was one of the main factors in me coming here - in terms of how he wants to play football and how he sees me fitting in.'
