Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold has won the EA Sports Premier League Player of the Month award for November.

The right-back produced a goal and four assists in three league appearances during the month as Liverpool kept up their title challenge.

Alexander-Arnold finished ahead of team-mate Diogo Jota, Manchester City duo Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva, Aston Villa's John McGinn and Watford's Emmanuel Dennis to clinch the monthly award.

It's the second month in a row that a Liverpool player has claimed the Premier League prize after Mohamed Salah won in October.

England international Alexander-Arnold last won a Player of the Month prize back in December 2019.

He started the month with a superb free-kick and an assist in Liverpool's 3-2 defeat at West Ham - their first reverse of the season.

Alexander-Arnold grabbed two assists in Liverpool's 4-0 win over Arsenal in the first match back after the November internationals and then swung in the corner from which Virgil van Dijk netted the fourth goal against Southampton.

In both the Arsenal and Southampton wins, Alexander-Arnold also helped his side keep a clean sheet.

He now has one goal and 10 assists for the campaign across all competitions.

Jurgen Klopp's side host Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon with club legend Steven Gerrard making an emotional return to Anfield.

The Reds enter the weekend trailing Premier League leaders Manchester City by a point.
