Watford have announced the signing of former Manchester City youngster Tom Dele-Bashiru.
The 19-year-old opted to leave City when his contract expired at the end of last season and he's now been handed a six-year contract with the Hornets.
The midfielder made just one first-team appearance after coming through the ranks at the Etihad Stadium, featuring in a Carabao Cup win over Leicester in 2017.
Dele-Bashiru is a Nigeria Under-20 international but previously represented England at youth level. He featured at this summer's Under-20 World Cup, scoring once in three games before the Super Eagles were dumped out by Poland in the knockout stages.
He is the latest City academy graduate to opt to leave the club in search of first team football, following in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho and Brahim Diaz, who moved on to Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid.
Watford have confirmed Dele-Bashiru will be part of Javi Gracia's first-team squad heading into the new season, while he becomes the club's second signing of the summer following the arrival of Craig Dawson.

6 year deal and probably a hefty salary too. A kid who's done nothing in the game. Shows what's wrong with football that kids who've done nothing are given contracts like this.

He played for the Nigerian u20 team. One of worst teams we've ever seen. I don't rate him as a good player. Don't waste your money.
