On this day in 2007, England failed to qualify for Euro 2008 after losing 3-2 to Croatia at Wembley.
The manager Steve McClaren was sacked a day later and called 'a wally with a brolly' by the English media.
Now England have already qualify for Euro 2020.

the problem with England is....they always concede goals....they have never looked a side which could defend against bigger opposition....all the championship winning side in Euro or wc had even Greece in 2004 had one thing in common they could manage clean sheet but not England...
