Oblak set for his 200th Atletico appearance

Atletico Madrid players are given a plaque on the Walk of Legends when they hit 100 appearances, so Jan Oblak is about to become a double legend as he prepares to make his 200th appearance for the club against Alaves on Saturday night.

His record since his difficult debut against Olympiacos, in a 3-2 loss, has been extraordinary.

Of his 199 matches so far he has kept 112 clean sheets, meaning he hasn't conceded in 56 percent of his matches.

Even when he does concede he doesn't let in many and has had to pick the ball out of the back of the net just 130 times, meaning he has conceded just 0.65 goals per game.

This season he is the leader in LaLiga Santander and on course for a fourth consecutive Zamora Trophy as a result of his record of 0.67 conceded per match.

He'll hope to keep that up at the Estadio Mendizorroza, where he has never played as a result of being injured for this fixture in each of the past two seasons.
