Jose Mourinho's odds of getting sacked before Christmas have been slashed following Manchester United's 3-0 defeat by Tottenham at Old Trafford.
The Portuguese is now the 10/11 favourite to lose his job among Premier League managers.
Odds on Mourinho getting the boot before Christmas have changed from 7/4 to 8/13.
'He's 1/4 not to see out the season and we've even got a price for him of 6/1 not to last the week,' said Katie Baylis, Betfair Spokesperson.
'Zinedine Zidane is the 2/1 favourite to take over the job, with Mauricio Pochettino ironically second in the betting at 13/2,' she added.
The heat has been turned up significantly on Mourinho after the tumultuous summer, packed with complaints about a lack of signings and their difficult summer tour of the US, spilled over into the start of this season.
United limped to a 3-2 defeat by Brighton last weekend and have now lost the second game in a row in August for the first time since 1992.
The home side spurned a number of chances at Old Trafford against Tottenham and lacked the fluency of their opposition in attack.
Mourinho then defended his record in an extraordinary press conference after the game, citing the number of Premier League titles he has won (3), before storming out.
No doubt a failure to pick up three points away at Burnley on Sunday will see his odds of getting sacked cut even more.

I don't blame Mourinho instead I blame the management that sacked the man who wanted to rebuild the team after the vintage Manchester team of sir Alex Ferguson, here am talking about Van Ghal instead of giving him the chance and support, they brought in a coach who does not know how to groom players or have the eyes to see or know a young player who has future, a coach who do more talking than coaching, a coach who always insults his players and brings himself very low for his players to insult him. well, Manchester united should know that it is not late to make an amend but the earlier the better.

Many of you will say that Mourinho shouldn't get the blame because he is not getting the players he wants. I completely disagree with this reason! Sir Alex Ferguson made do with anybody that he gets. He can convert a normal class player into a star in a team filled with stars. Michael Carrick wasn't first choice and they got him last minute. That didn't stop Sir Alex Ferguson from turning him into a high profile midfielder! In fact, I think if Michael Carrick played, he would have still bethe best player on the pitch. I am confident to say that Sir Alex Ferguson can change this current team into title contenders. He can probably make Lindelof, Lingard, Perreira, Lukaku, Rashford and Pogba even into consistent pros. Mourinho on the other hand is unable to do this. I think it is time. #Joseout
