It was predicted to go down to the wire, and indeed it has. Yet Real Betis have the signing they so desired this summer, Antonio de Triana, as he is now affectionately know. Los Verdiblancos finish the transfer window with a bang.
Early on Monday, after a week of unconfirmed reports, denials and statements, it was reported that Betis and United had finally reached a conclusion in their negotiations. United were desperate to sign off on a permanent sale for the €95m Brazilian, while Betis could not get near their €40-50m asking price.
According to earlier reports, the deal will be worth a maximum of €25m, €3m of which will be variables. The deal will see United retain a 50% sell-on fee though, meaning that if Betis were to sell him on at a later date for €30-50m, then United could get back what they are asking for. It is not yet clear just how much of a wage cut Antony has taken to get the deal through, or whether the Red Devils have agreed to settle on some quantity of his contract, but it seems likely that some compromise on the Brazilian’s wages will have been reached.

another Spanish team, short changing the English team. Barcelona going to try to get Rashford for free, or they'll send him back after the loan.
