On May 22, Manchester United will face Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final. Before the match, André Onana spoke to the club’s official media.

Onana said:

“For me, it’s a huge honor and a privilege. My first Europa League final was against Manchester United when I was with Ajax, so to be back in the final again—this time with United—feels incredible.”

“We’re familiar with the stadium after our match against Athletic Bilbao. It’s a great venue with a good atmosphere. We won there, and that’s exactly why we’re going back—we’re excited and hoping to win again.”

“This has been a very difficult season for all of us. But it’s also been a time to learn—some of us might be experiencing this kind of season for the first time in our careers. Now, we have an important opportunity, and we must seize it. This match can’t save the season, but at least we can bring some joy to the fans.”
