The football world learned on Sunday the two reasons that sparked Cristiano Ronaldo's Real Madrid exit, a decision that he reached in May 2017.
A financial disagreement between the player and club arose as the Portuguese attempted to demand more money, to put him on par with Lionel Messi.
However, at Real Madrid there is a responsible president who simply said "no."
So, Cristiano and Jorge Mendes left, and set off for Turin.
The second reason is more, maybe, moral.
Ronaldo saw his morale damaged by being placed in the shadow of Alfredo Di Stefano.
"I am always behind him so I don't know what else I have to do," he'd said.
In reality, there is nothing he could have done to surpass Real Madrid's all-time greatest player.
Let me tell you a story, Cristiano.
This Thursday, 64 years have passed since the official debut of Di Stefano in the white shirt, the best of all time.
When Don Alfredo arrived in Madrid it was a football team, when he left it was the biggest sports club in history.
He arrived at a club with just two league titles in 25 years, when he left they had ten and five European Cups as well.
You are a huge player, Cristiano, but Di Stefano has been, and always will be the King.

Di Stefano wrote his name with Gold on the hearts of all Madrista and CR7 did same and there is no need to compare or contrast. These two greats and others left their mark and they can never be forgotten.

so many people comparing Ronaldo to di Stefano is useless and baseless Stefano ruled an era where there was very less competition in the game and Madrid had no major rivals where his goals will win trophies but nowadays with the competition am not sure his goals will have done anything and Madrid need to thank Ronaldo too because his era was so competitive with his major rival being only One and only Messi imagine if they was no Messi how many trophies Ronaldo and Madrid will have won so its difficult to compare both because they both played in different eras and Ronaldo's era containing the greatest players

I know for sure if this ronaldo was born at that time he would have done even better then Di. Now Di if was born on the same time Ronaldo played I have my doubts that we would do the same Ronaldo did. Therefore ALL HAIL THE KING ladies and gentlemens CRISTIANO RONALDO modafocas
