Mesut Ozil's Arsenal future remains in serious question, with the German playmaker having no role in Unai Emery’s first XI.
The Spaniard is keen to move the World Cup winner in the summer, as he looks to release further funds for his own rebuilding plans at the Emirates.
But Ozil's £350,000-a-week wages - courtesy of the contract he was handed last year - continue to prove prohibitive.
And according to reports in Italy, Inter Milan have turned down the option to take the 30-year-old playmaker this summer, at a reduced rate.
Inter have been linked with Ozil for a number of months, and with the Gunners actively seeking to move Ozil on when the season ends, it’s claimed that the Gunners have contacted the Nerazzurri over a potential deal.
However, Inter chiefs are not keen to take Ozil - even with Arsenal effectively waiving a potential transfer fee.
According to Calciomercato, Arsenal also recently approached Juventus in a bid to make a deal.
But the Italian champions also made clear that they have no interest in Ozil either.
Altogether, it leaves Ozil in limbo, unwanted at the club who have paid him over £18million in wages since he inked his deal in early 2018.
The German wasn't in Arsenal's squad for Saturday's 2-1 win over Huddersfield .

I don't think the wage is not a problem here for Ozil but the run in type he plays on the pitch is not impressed by his coach. He doesn't run but scramble most of the time like the vultu on the pitch. No doubts on his talents but just the talents hardly impress to the Coaches nowadays. Good luck Ozil.

Ozil is a player who left the European Giant of Real Madrid for Arsenal (at his peak) at the time when our top players were thinking we not good enough and leaving us for Man city and Man United.Thats what makes Ozil special to the fans besides his pure class.Messing with Ozil is Messing with the fans he loves and believe in this club and deserves the amount of money he is getting and earned it,how many of the star players in either Madrid or Barca could leave those teams for Arsenal???answer is NONE,people must think before criticizing Ozil.Emery is digging his own grave and we won't mourn him

I am happy to see some Arsenal fans have seen why Ozil is being dropped. He is just a lazy player and this is not what is needed from a modern day attacking midfielder. Ozil fans - One question for you: Since Ozil came to Arsenal (I know he is the most creative player in the world) - Name just one game he has starred for Arsenal in an away game against the top six. That will tell you what you need to know about Unai's decision. This is not Wenger bro. This is Unai Emery. Lets back him in rebuilding the team. Arsenal have been way too soft over the last few years (There is need for change - just accept it).
