Erling Haaland produced a fearsome goalscoring display with the Man City forward netting five times to inspire a 6-2 win over Luton Town in the FA Cup fifth round.
The Norwegian completed a hat-trick inside 40 minutes at Kenilworth Road, scoring twice after the break.
Four of Haaland's efforts were assisted by Kevin De Bruyne, with the duo demonstrating their devastating connection ahead of the Manchester Derby on Sunday.
Mateo Kovacic scored from distance to complete the scoring, with Luton have briefly threatened a comeback at 3-2 after Jordan Clark struck twice for the hosts.
Mail Sport's Kieran Gill rates Man City's players as their pursuit of a second successive Treble gathers momentum.
Manchester City - 4-2-3-1
Stefan Ortega – 6
Helpless for Luton’s first goal, but his poor clearance gave the ball away ahead of the Hatters second. Made a brilliant save to tip wide an effort from Ross Barkley.
Kyle Walker – 6
Picked out De Bruyne's run from midfield, allowing the Belgian to square for Haaland's fourth goal of the night.
John Stones – 7
Pushed into midfield throughout the match and helped Man City build waves of attack on the Luton goal. Laid the ball into Kovacic's path for the Croatian to add City's sixth of the evening.
Manuel Akanji – 6
Combined with Matheus Nunes in the build-up to Man City's opening goal.
Nathan Ake – 6
Produced an outstanding block in the opening minutes to deny Carlton Morris from close range.
Mateo Kovacic – 6.5
The Croatian sat deeper to provide Rodri was a night off in the Man City midfield. Added to the scoreline with a drive from the edge of the area in the second half.
Matheus Nunes – 7
Heavily involved in the build-up to Man City's opener with the Portuguese midfielder picking out De Bruyne's run with a fine pass.
Nunes was involved throughout in an impressive showing from the midfielder.
Bernardo Silva – 7
Operating on the right wing, Silva was as influential as ever. His well timed pass found Haaland in space, with the Norwegian taking a touch and blasting through Tim Krul for his fifth of the evening.
Kevin De Bruyne – 9
Four assists for the brilliant Belgian on his return to the starting line-up, with his second showing his quick thinking and vision to release Haaland in two touches.
City fans chanted his name after setting up Haaland’s fourth.
A week after Guardiola revealed De Bruyne had 'niggles in his hamstring', the Belgian completing the full match suggests he is now back to full fitness.
Jack Grealish – 6.5
Looked distraught when he went off injured in the closing minutes of the first half.
After speaking with Man City medical staff, Grealish took his place on the bench with his head in hands and coat covering his face.
Guardiola confirmed post-match that the England international looks to have suffered a recurrence of a groin problem.
Erling Haaland – 9.5
Ominous signs for Man City’s rivals with Haaland and De Bruyne’s connection on full display at Kenilworth Road.
A brutal display from the Norwegian, combining pace, power and lethal finishing.
One of four key Man City players brought off in the closing stages.
Substitutes
Jeremy Doku (For Grealish 38) - 6
Oscar Bobb - (For Ake 77)
Sergio Gomez - (For Silva 77)
Rico Lewis - (For Stones 77)
Julian Alvarez - (For Haaland 77)

Not after flopping on Chelsea, he can never be an EPL legend. He's not even the best Albino from EPL, Paul School was far better than this VAR spoiled brat.
Judging by your words I think you are a Lutton town supporter

Yeah, we've done well. Rush, Fowler, Owen, Suarez, Torres, Salah. Remind me again who you exactly are? Some oil team who manipulated FFP yet still only has 1 CL to show in all that time. Just 1. Lol, 😂😂 keep trying you'll get there in the end. Crime pays for shitty. The hens are coming home to roost though, tick tock.

The king is not his former self. Time to abdicate. It was fun while it lasted. DeBruyne, 30% the player he was and impossible to replace. Too old to fully recover from that type of hamstring injury. Shame.

This was the best game for Matheus Nunes so far. Apart from one bad clearance, Ortega was flawless and produced Two really good saves. KDB was the overall king 👑 though.
