Former PSG player Alain Roche believes Sergio Ramos' season is over and says that PSG signing the Spaniard from Real Madrid was a 'failed bet'.
Ramos moved to the Parisians last summer on a free transfer from Madrid but has featured just five times, with a calf injury meaning he had to wait until November for his debut.
He was then sent-off in his second game for the club, against Lorient in December, and missed last week's Champions League game against his former club through injury once again.
Now, ex-France international Roche believes the Spaniard's season is over.
'He hasn't played any important games, not even one in the Champions League. It's sad,' Roche told French outlet Canal+.
We were happy to have him with us, but it's a failed bet. Now we have to believe in miracles.
'For me, his season is over.'
Ramos left Madrid after 16 years at the club in which he won four Champions League titles, captaining the side to three crowns.
He has a contract at the Parc des Princes until the summer of 2023, and is now in a race against time to be fit for the second-leg against Madrid - and a potential return to the Bernabeu - on March 9.
Mauricio Pochettino could do with calling on the experienced defender ahead of the last-16 second-leg and particularly after PSG slumped to a shock 3-1 defeat at Nantes at the weekend.
