With Manuel Ugarte’s signing from Sporting CP all but wrapped up, PSG look set to carry on their recruit campaign in Portugal with the arrival of Italian midfielder Cher Ndour from Benfica.
RMC Sport have confirmed initial reporting from Fabrizio Romano that the Italian youth international will join on a free transfer at the end of June, with the Ligue 1 champions having beaten an unnamed Premier League club to the 18-year-old.
Ndour moved to the Portuguese capital from Atalanta back in 2020. He was a part of Benfica’s 2022 Youth League-winning side, notably scoring a goal in the 6-0 win over Salzburg in the final. He made his first-team debut back in March against Vitória Guimarães, having also made 30 appearances for the reserve side in the second division, scoring four goals and providing one assist. He also faced PSG in the Youth League group stages this past year.

It’s a bad move on his part. He should stay at Benfica where he will get some playing time
