PSG 'considering a move for Arsenal outcast Matteo Guendouzi' with London club ready to cash in

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly considering entering the race for Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.

Guendouzi hasn't played for Arsenal since June 20 after being frozen out by Mikel Arteta following the defeat to Brighton.

The Frenchman wasn't in attendance at Wembley on Saturday as Arsenal beat Chelsea in the FA Cup final - and his days at the Emirates now appear numbered despite only joining two years ago.

And football.london claim PSG are interested and have kept a close eye on Guendouzi ever since he left their academy in 2014 to join Lorient.

They are not alone when it comes to interest in the 21-year-old with the likes of Barcelona and Juventus also monitoring the situation.

Guendouzi has been training alone following his clash with Brighton's Neal Maupay in June.

Angry at Maupay's perceived involvement in Bernd Leno's injury, Guendouzi clashed with the Brighton attacker and reportedly taunted opposition players about earning more money than them.

Guendouzi grabbed Maupay by the throat and although he wasn't subsequently banned by the FA, he hasn't played for Arsenal since.

Earlier in the season, Guendouzi was dropped by Arteta for a game against Newcastle as a result of his conduct during their warm weather training camp in Dubai.

Arsenal were allowed ten players from outside the matchday squad in attendance against Chelsea but Guendouzi wasn't there.

Although he has two years left on his contract, it appears likely that Guendouzi could leave Arsenal this summer as the club try to raise funds for new signings.

Since joining Arsenal from Lorient in 2018, Guendouzi has made 82 appearances for the Gunners.

He is seen as a player with much potential but his departure seems rather inevitable given the concerns regarding his attitude.
