PSG 'make contact' with Wilfried Zaha in a bid to sign the Crystal Palace star

PSG have reportedly made initial contact with Wilfried Zaha in a bid to sign the Crystal Palace forward when his contract expires this summer.

According to Le Parisien, the French champions have joined the race for the Ivorian international, who has a number of offers on the table once his deal at Selhurst Park runs out.

Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr are said to have put together a £45million package to lure Zaha to the Saudi Pro League, where he would team-up with Cristiano Ronaldo While rivals Al-lttilhad have also offered him a deal to move to the middle east.

However, it is believed Zaha is waiting to see what offers receives from European clubs, having never played in a European competition before, with Atletico Madrid also said to be interested in the 30-year-old.

Now it's believed PSG have entered the race, with Luis Campos, reportedly  monitoring Zaha for a considerable period of time and recent discussions have taken place to in an attempt to make progress on a move.

Zaha plated 28 times for the Eagles last season, scoring 6 goals and hasn't ruled out staying in South London, with Crystal Palace having offered him a new deal worth nearly £200,000 a week plus bonuses to make him the highest paid player in their history.

He made his debut for the club in 2009 and was considered one of the most exciting young players in country upon his move to Manchester United in 2013.

However, having been signed by Sir Alex Ferguson, Zaha failed to make an impact under his successors and after a season out on loan at Cardiff moved back to Crystal Palace on loan in 2013 before re-signing permanently a year later.

In all, Zaha has played over 450 games for the club, netting 90 goals and is considered to be one of Crystal Palace's greatest ever players.

Internationally he has also been capped 33 times for the Ivory Coast, despite earning two friendly appearances for England in 2012 and 2013.
