L’Equipe reports that PSG will shift their focus to the signing of Lyon winger Bradley Barcola (20) for the three final days of the summer transfer window amid their failure, as of now, of striking an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt for Randal Kolo Muani. The Bundesliga side is reportedly holding firm for a €90m+ transfer fee to let go of the France international centre-forward. The outlet reports that Frankfurt has turned down Les Parisiens’ package of €65m without bonuses but including out-of-favour striker Hugo Ekitike. Eintracht’s hardball stance is reportedly calling PSG’s pursuit of Kolo Muani into question. The former Nantes centre-forward has already agreed to join Luis Enrique’s side.
With Kolo Muani’s potential transfer at a standstill, PSG can now turn their attention into bringing Barcola to the Parc des Princes. The France U21 international too has informed his club of his desire to complete a move to the Ligue 1 champions. L’Equipe understands that Les Parisiens and Les Gones are set to enter into talks regarding Barcola’s transfer in the next hours. The winger, who can also fill in as a centre-forward, has took Ligue 1 by storm in the last months of the past campaign, striking a deadly partnership with Lyon returning hero Alexandre Lacazette. Barcola is tied to his formative club over a contract that runs until 2026.
