The referees for the Boxing Day Serie A fixtures have been announced, with Paolo Mazzoleni taking charge of Inter-Napoli.
For the first time since 1971 there will be a round of top flight fixtures on Santo Stefano, Saint Stephen’s Day.
Today the AIA has announced the referees for Wednesday’s games, with Mazzoleni the man in the middle for the big match at San Siro.
Gianluca Manganiello will be the lead VAR official, with Giorgio Peretti assisting him.
Elsewhere, Piero Giacomelli will run the rule over Roma-Sassuolo, while Marco Guida is in charge of the early game between Spal and Milan.
