Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has said he remains committed to the club despite recent rumours of a possible exit.

Aubameyang has yet to sign an extension to his current contract at the Emirates Stadium, which runs until 2021, and after the Gunners' poor December the Gabon international was linked to Inter Milan and Barcelona.

But after insisting that he remains '100 per cent' committed to Arsenal after their victory against Manchester United on New Year's Day, Aubameyang has reiterated in that he wants to help restore the club back to 'where it belongs'.

'I would also like to react to some of the rumours that are going around about me in the media,' Aubameyang told the club's official matchday programme ahead of their Monday night FA Cup fixtures against Leeds United.

'People like making up stories and they should focus on what's happening on the pitch. They talk too much and it does my head in!

'I am the Arsenal captain. I love this club. I am committed to it and desperate to bring it back to the top, where it belongs.
