Pep Guardiola has delivered his verdict on Fernandinho's sending off in Man City's 3-0 victory over Aston Villa on Saturday.
Fernandinho picked up his second booking of the game in the 87th minute for pulling back Keinan Davis as he charged towards the goal.
The red card means Fernandinho will be suspended for one game, missing Tuesday's Carabao Cup clash against Southampton at the Etihad.
Guardiola did not seem too concerned about the red after the game.
"Sometimes when you have a lot of problems in one position more problems come in the same position," he told BT Sport after the game.
"It is what it is. It happened with Phil Foden last game in the Champions League, the youngest one and the oldest one happens again.
"Football is about taking the right decisions in the right moment, but it can happen."

It's Peps tactics to commit professional fouls whenever possession is lost and there is the risk of conceeding although last year he denied it
