Piatek: I was an Arsenal fan growing up, I admired Henry and Bergkamp

Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek has confessed that he was an Arsenal fan in his younger days. “I admired champions like Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp.”

“I was an Arsenal fan growing up,” he told Tuttosport.

“I really liked Wenger’s style of play and I admired champions like Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp.

“I did my ‘pistolero’ celebration after I scored a goal and then it stayed. Now it represents a lucky charm for me.

“I’ve seen how people in Italy have gone mad about this celebration. Genoa’s a city where I felt good.

“In particular I loved the sea, the mild climate and good food.”
