Gerard Pique sat alongside Lionel Messi at Barcelona's press conference ahead of their Copa del Rey final against Valencia on Saturday, but, like Messi's questions, much of the focus was on the Champions League defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.
In fact, the centre-back was asking about Frenkie de Jong, who reached the Champions League semi-finals with Ajax, and he responded by insinuating what Barcelona need in order to improve.
"De Jong? The club has to look for players who can perform and help us win trophies," said Pique.
"De Jong has shown that he has the level to compete with the best."
Perhaps Pique's most interesting quote, however, came with his response from a personal point of view to the Liverpool collapse.
"It was one of my worst experiences as a professional [footballer]," he added.
"We try to play Barcelona's style [of play]; sometimes it's easier to do, sometimes it's more difficult.
"It's not just what we want to do; sometimes the other team plays.
"There are times where it's not possible to have the ball and control the game."
Looking ahead of the Valencia clash, Pique is aware of the threat that Los Che pose.
"They are a team that started the season a little irregularly, with lots of draws," stated the Catalan.
"The second half of the season has been very good, catching up to the Champions League places [Valencia ended the season in 4th].
"They are team against whom we did not win both games [in LaLiga Santander].
"From the first minute, we have to try and take advantage on the scoreboard."

The players have defended Valverde as they were supposed to do. And now, if Valverde has any shame left, he will announce his departure after the Copa final. Iniesta was given a contract for life but he left when he felt he could not give much to the team. Same, with Xavi and Pep. The day Pep was appointed as a Barca coach, somebody asked him if he was ready and Pep replied, "I would not have taken this job if i was not ready. I love this club too much to hurt it.." This is what loving your club means. Valverde has nothing left to give to this team and if he has any shame left, he should resign.
