Gerard Pique decided to respond to Edu Aguirre, a journalist for the popular Spanish TV programme 'El Chiringuito de Jugones', after Barcelona's 0-0 draw away at Sevilla on Friday night.
The Catalan defender surprised people post-match by stating that it will be difficult for Barcelona to win the LaLiga Santander title if the first two matchdays back are anything to go by, intimating that Real Madrid had benefitted from some refereeing decisions.
"You have to come home crying!" Aguirre tweeted, quoting a tweet of Pique's comments about the title from the account of 'El Chiringuito'.
"You've crossed the line," Pique responded to the journalist.
The controversy between Pique and Aguirre is nothing new.
The two clashed before when the centre-back accused Aguirre of feeding the whistles from the stands with regard to the criticism Pique received during Spain matches.

I can't understand how you need to win a match by all cost and instead of playing pressure game or putting pressure on the opponents you're making back passing and you complain about referee helping Real Madrid? I don't understand these Barca people

Benefiting from referees?😂 So Messi who pushed a fellow player down and he wasn't given a RED is not benefiting Barcelona right?[Crylaugh]
