Pique's tweet after Zidane's complaints to referee: By talking, people understand each other

With such controversy taking place in a key match for Real Madrid, Gerard Pique wasn't going to let the chance to add fuel to the fire go to waste.

The Barcelona centre-back responded to a tweet where Zinedine Zidane could be seen asking referee Martinez Munuera for an explanation about the penalty given against his side in the 74th minute.

"By talking, people understand each other," Pique replied to a tweet by Movistar.

This is in response to the criticism he received in the last Clasico between Real Madrid and Barcelona.

On that day, the defender waited for Gil Manzano at the end of the game to complain about the amount of added time, before Luka Modric jumped in and questioned why he was doing so.

"[You're going] to complain now, eh?" Modric said to Pique before adding: "But how many more minutes do you want?"

It seems now the roles have reversed, and Pique sought to highlight this irony.
