Miralem Pjanic admits his COVID-19 positive test has shown him to ‘never take anything for granted,’ as the ex-Juventus midfielder must delay his Barcelona move.
His experience with Barca hasn’t even started yet, as he was due to begin pre-season training next week.
Instead, he’ll have to self-isolate at home for 15 days before taking more tests and then flying out to Spain.
“Fortunately, I am fine and asymptomatic,” wrote Pjanic on Instagram.
“But if there’s something I’ve learned, it’s that we must never take anything for granted, not even what we consider the most natural habit.
“The lives we are living now teach us that. Let’s respect the rules and be careful, without letting ourselves get into a panic.”
