Roma lose out on Ramon Planes, who has officially signed a new deal with Barcelona, becoming the new technical director at Camp Nou.
The director has been linked with a move to the Italian capital in recent weeks and tipped to be the top candidate for new owner Dan Friedkin.
The Giallorossi had contacted the Spanish director, but the rumours of last night have been confirmed this morning.
