Sports stars including Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino were in attendance at the 14th BGC Annual Global Charity Day.
The event, which took place in Canary Wharf, was held in commemoration of the BGC employees that died in the 9/11 attacks in 2001.
As part of the event a host of celebrities worked phones in the global financial services company's offices and spoke to those that made donations.
The event has raised approximately $147million (£113million) globally since it first began in 2004.
As well as Pochettino, former Chelsea and England captain John Terry was also in attendance at the event with his wife Toni.
They were joined by Wales coach and Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs.
Jack Wilshere, who joined West Ham from Arsenal this summer, also helped to raise money along with former boxer Frank Bruno.
The event saw The Duchess of York and The Countess of Wessex attend as well as singers Nicole Scherzinger and Olly Murs.
