It wasn't the explosive start to life at Paris Saint-Germain that Mauricio Pochettino was dreaming of as his side were held to a 1-1 draw at Saint-Etienne.
The former Tottenham manager took charge of his first game as PSG boss on Tuesday but saw his star-studded side fall behind in the 19th minute through Romain Hamouma.
However, just three minutes later PSG drew level thanks to Moise Kean, and Pochettino was hoping for a immediate turnaround against Saint-Etienne.
But that did not come, and despite enjoying the majority share of possession, the Ligue 1 giants struggled to break their opponents down - who sit 14th in the table.
The result now leaves PSG three points behind league leaders Lyon, who narrowly overcame Lens 3-2 on Tuesday thanks to goals a Memphis Depay brace and a Steven Fortes own-goal.

Pochettino is not a type of coach that brings instant change. He takes time as seen in spurs. PSG are lucky to get him

Hea building back the mentality. They were slipping and getting really bad results. If anything this is 1 of their better results. Poch is the kind of guy that will have Veratti looking like Xavi in like 5 months time. Give that man time there is no better manager currently when it comes to bringing the best out of players not even Klopp. He will have Neymar doing up Ronaldinho once hes back too.

When you realise, you sold Cancelo and Kean like classic players and kept native Bernardeschi and brought Danilo
