Paul Pogba's bad week has taken another turn for the worse after he lost his diamond earring in training.
The Frenchman, who is currently embroiled in a bitter row with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, is believed to have alerted staff at Carrington to the ring's disappearance on Tuesday.
According to the Sun, this led to a 25-person search around Carrington as staff helped him try to find it.
Pogba is now understood to be offering a cash reward to anyone that locates it.
The midfielder responded to the loss of the earring by replacing it with an emoji one in a selfie on his Instagram Story earlier this week.
The original earring's disappearance, though, caps a bad few days for the 25-year-old. On Tuesday, he was stripped of the United captaincy for the Carabao Cup defeat to Derby following a bust-up with manager Jose Mourinho.
Pogba had criticised the Portuguese's tactics over the weekend after the 1-1 home draw with Wolves, saying that United should 'attack, attack, attack' at Old Trafford.
And the following day, footage emerged of a frosty exchange between the pair at Carrington.
Pogba now faces an agonising wait to see if he will regain his place in the Manchester United team for the trip to West Ham on Saturday.
