Pogba? Zouma? Dembele? Mkhitaryan? AF19/20 August Flops of the Month revealed

Football is fun to watch because some players would go from hero to zero in just a month. Some of the biggest names are to feature in All Football Flops of the Month for August - and you know why.

Here, we take a look at eleven players whose performances dip so spectacularly that some of their own fans are calling them to leave the club. Make sure you vote for the captain in the end as well.

GK: David De Gea (Man Utd)

He should have kept out Van Aanholt’s stoppage time winner against Crystal Palace, which went almost straight at him.

DF: Davinson Sanchez (Tottenham)

Struggled in the full-back slot and never looked comfortable. He’s not happy when in the possession and gave the ball away on most occasions he tried to dribble forward. This was a poor performance.

DF: Kurt Zouma (Chelsea)

A nervous, clumsy and costly display from a defender trying to impress after two seasons away.

DF: Kalidou Koulibaly (Napoli)

Koulibaly volleyed a free kick into his own net in stoppage time to hand Juve an early advantage in the Serie A title race and leave Napoli coach Carlo Ancelotti ruing a missed opportunity.

DF: Alvaro Odriozola (Real Madrid)

Rough month for the former Sociedad player. Dragged out of position on countless occasions by Denis Suarez. Made a massive mistake just before halftime where he tried to beat his marker 1v1 near Madrid’s eighteen.

MF: Granit Xhaka (Arsenal)

Crazy challenge to concede a penalty in North London derby, really must improve his discipline. Poor.

MF: Paul Pogba (Man Utd)

Needlessly careless and slowed down the attack by continually trying to outmuscle opponents. It almost always ended with him ceding possession.

MF Ross Barkley (Chelsea)

He always tried his luck from distance on a couple of occasions, but his final ball was lacking.

FW: Henrikh Mkhitaryan (Arsenal / Roma)

It was notable that many of opponents' best moments came from Mkhitaryan's wastefulness.

FW: Marcus Rashford (Man Utd)

Rashford bungled countless breakaways and his decision-making was dismal, he also missed a important penalty.

FW: Ousmane Dembele (Barcelona)

Dembele did not listen to Barcelona's medics' desire to look at his leg after suffering pain and get injured in La Liga opener.

Manager: Ernesto Valverde (Barcelona)

Valverde suffers bad defensive performance... They have conceded 5 goals in their first 3 games and only earn 4 points, now many Barca fans want him out.
