Former Liverpool midfielder Jason McAteer has claimed only Paul Pogba from Man Utd would get into Jurgen Klopp's side.
Speaking to the Racing Post, he explained: "The only one of their players I think could make it into the Liverpool team is Paul Pogba.
"The Reds are European champions, have won every league game this season and the mentality of the squad collectively is brilliant.
"The club is in a very good place. You might argue Marcus Rashford could get into the Liverpool team but you would have to shoehorn him into a team playing a different system - I wouldn't remove any of Liverpool's front three."
Liverpool are the odds-on favourite to secure the three points against United and McAteer thinks that the game will demonstrate the gulf in class between the two sides.
He added: "The gulf in class between Liverpool and Manchester United is the biggest it has been in the Premier League era without a shadow of a doubt.
"United have issues at board level and on the pitch."

An in-form De Gea can also make the team ahead of Alisson

the coaching probably needs looking at. It's pretty clear there are no patterns of play emerging and perhaps most damningly we are useless on attacking set pieces with virtually nobody who can put a decent ball in. You'd have thought that would be a minimum requirement for a Premier League footballer. It's been that way for a long long time now though, since way before Ole was appointed. You hear United fans joking that the last time we put a decent corner in was the CL final in '99... It isn't helped by the constant injuries though. It wouldn't matter if it was Phil Jones or Nemanja Matic or Marcos Rojo, but it seems to be all of our most effective players dropping like flies. Perhaps that's indicative of bad coaching, maybe a lack of fitness, probably a bit of both. Throw in a bit of bad luck and a seriously thin squad and this is the result. We knew that heading into the season and I highly doubt Solskjaer didn't want the players we sold replacing.....
