An overall Champions League table of this season's group stages has thrown up some surprises as to which teams fared best on their way to the last-16.
Portuguese side Porto picked up more points than any of the other 31 sides as they won five and drew one of their six games in Group D.
Naturally they were helped by generous draw which saw Sergio Conceicao's men grouped alongside Schalke, Galatasaray and Lokomotiv Moscow.
Tottenham, on the other hand, were statistically the worst performing side to make it through to the knockout stages.
Mauricio Pochettino's men completed a remarkable survival act with their draw against Barcelona on Tuesday night after being on the brink of an early exit after having picked up just one point from their first three games.
Their eight points and goal difference of minus one puts them 17th in the overall table, two places behind Napoli, who did not qualify.
Interestingly, Manchester United put up better numbers than two of their English rivals, Spurs and Liverpool, placing 12th in the table.
Bayern Munich and Barcelona sit right behind Porto at the top being the only two other teams that remained undefeated.
AEK Athens, meanwhile, sit rock bottom, after losing all six of their games in Group E.

Smart Tottenham hotspur! No need to be so strong but smartness is compulsory. 😉

Porto topped the weakest group and might get opponents like Liverpool in the last 16.At least the memories of last years thrashing will still be fresh in their minds
