Ange Postecoglou has opened up on his future at Tottenham after guiding them to Europa League glory over Manchester United.
His side ended their 17-year trophy drought with a 1-0 victory over the Red Devils in Bilbao thanks to Brennan Johnson's goal late in the first half.
They were then able to see out their lead to spark joyous celebrations among their players, coaches and fans following the final whistle in the Basque Country.
After the match, the Australian shared an update on whether or not he will stay at the club next season.
Postecoglou said: 'I’ve had such a laser focus on winning this. Whatever happens, happens. We are still building this team, it is still very young, we need to add experience.
'My thought process has bene trying to build a team that can be successful for a long time, but I am manager, it is not in my hands but it doesn’t affect me, if it did you would have seen it.
'I want to stay, I haven’t completed a job yet, but the moment I accepted the role I had one thing in my head and that was to win something, I want to build on it'.
Speculation over his future has been rife given that he has led Spurs to their worst-ever Premier League finish, with the Lilywhites currently sitting 17th in the table.
However, Postecoglou and his players will still be appearing in elite European competition next season.
By virtue of winning this season's Europa League, they secured an automatic spot in the Champions League for 2025-26.
