Graham Potter has hit back at critics of his 'relaxed' personality by confessing he purposely hides his anger, but admits he does get frustrated in his role as Chelsea manager.
Potter is under mounting pressure following a run that has seen the Blues win one of their last eight Premier League games. The latest of which coming in last week's 1-0 home defeat to Manchester City.
It's a run of form that has seen the London side fall to 10th in the Premier League, 10 points behind Manchester United in fourth place.
Speaking ahead of Chelsea's FA Cup Third Round clash, where they'll face again Manchester City on Sunday, Potter was asked about his laid-back personality and questioned if he does get angry amid the pressure on him at Stamford Bridge.
'I hide it well'. The Blues boss confessed.
'You see me here, and this isn't actually me all the time. So, of course there are times where you get cross and you get angry, it's not like I'm just some robot just talking to this tin can. Of course there's stuff that happens.'
In a fiery exchange, Potter continued to explain that he is respectful when it comes to presenting himself to the media, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't get annoyed by questions or angry after games.
Potter continued: 'My responsibility when it comes to you (the media) is to speak in a respectable way as I can, even though some of your questions are stupid. But I've got to answer them the best I can, and as respectfully as I can because I represent a fantastic football club, and I've got that job to do.
Regardless if I'm p***** off after the game, I have to come here and represent Chelsea the best way I can.'
Potter's mood hasn't been helped by Chelsea's growing injury list. Both Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic had to come off in the defeat to Man City, meaning the Blues now have ten first team players on the sidelines.
As well as doubts on Sterling and Pulisic, Chelsea are still without long-term absentees Reece James, Ben Chilwell and N'Golo Kante. While Armando Broja is unlikely to play again this season.
Mason Mount also missed Thursday's defeat to Man City, while the FA Cup meeting may be too soon for Wesley Fofana and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
After their FA Cup action, Chelsea face back-to-back London derbies, firstly with a trip to rivals Fulham at then playing host to Crystal Palace.

Truly hope Potter turns our form around and makes the media eat humble pie!! Media are always hungry for news and they want to see potter sacked so that they have a story to write about day after day for the next month!! Personally I think Potter has to stay until the end of the season and if he fails then and only then maybe we should look to bring in a proven winner. For now I am hoping Potter is successful and hope we don’t need to replace him. KTBFFH

The self proclaimed board claiming to take Chelseafc to greater heights have are cold feet when joao felix, enzo(both available now) and rice would be available in summer. To be clear in their respective positions and their age,we won't be getting a better alternative in whole of Europe 4 those that have eyes and 100% if felix is available for 80 million come summer guadiola will pounce and some idiots will still be complaining that he signs d best players

I'm a Football fan. But Potter is POTLESS about what he's doing at Chelsea. The Team has no True Formation. Without a Good Manager even Great players looks Ordinary. Maybe Chelsea is too much for him. But none of my Business, as long as he keeps Losing to Manchester City we're Good. [Crylaugh][Crylaugh]
