Premier League & England player 'cheated on his wife with Instagram influencer'

A married Premier League and England footballer cheated on his wife with a woman he groomed on Instagram then paid her £20,000 hush money when she fell pregnant and had an abortion, MailOnline can reveal.

The well known soccer star first messaged the woman privately after being attracted online by her selfies - then took her on a date to a London strip club before checking into a hotel for a night of passion.

Several more sexual encounters followed including a hotel fling the night before his team’s match where the footballer arranged for her to circumnavigate the team’s security officials and sneak into his bedroom.

The relationship between the married player and the social influencer, who has more than 100,000 followers, began in January 2019.

Their first date was on 16th January when he took her to the Platinum Lace strip club in London’s Leicester Square.

He emerged with her and evaded detection by any paparazzi by pulling his jumper over his face and donning a cap.

They then checked into a Mayfair hotel together.

Around six more sexual encounters took place in both the North and South.

He also invited her to his home for sex when his wife and children were away.

But in late 2021 she phoned him told the player that she was pregnant with his child.

He told her: ‘I have had to leave training. I felt sick.’

She agreed to an abortion at a London clinic and he sent a friend to accompany her and ensure the procedure was carried out as she agreed.

The abortion took place in January last year and the couple never met again.

However, Mail Online can reveal he arranged for £20,000 to be paid to her in March 2022 and she agreed to maintain silence on the affair.

A source said: ‘He is married and has children and he was clearly scared about how it would affect his family if it all ever came out.

‘He has been smart paying her off as she can never reveal his name. She got £20,000 which isn’t going to hurt him when you think about how much these guys earn every week.

‘Meeting young women on things like Instagram and SnapChat is the usual way for these rich young footballers who know many women would get starry eyed that a famous person has contacted them.’
