The latest instalment of the Premier League's trademark winter ball will make its return to the top flight on October 29 when the clocks go back an hour.
October 29 officially marks the winter season and once again spectators will see the bright yellow ball, known as the 'Nike Ordem V', in action on cold winter nights across the league.
Marked with the official 'FIFA quality stamp', Nike maintain its production of the Premier League ball with the latest edition will go on sale at £100, with cheaper versions available also.
It has been understood by the Mirror that despite the fact the ball will not be seen on Premier League pitches for another 16 days, the league have already distributed the ball to the member clubs.
Speaking about the ball's announcement, Nike stated: 'extensively tested by some of the world's leading players' in order to produce a ball that is faster, easier to grip and easier to see.
'Football is becoming ever-faster, and the Ordem V is designed to keep pace with this,' said Nike, in a statement earlier this year.
'It's Distorted Motion Graphic flickers as the ball rotates, helping players catch sight of the ball quicker and so make rapid decisions as they react to the game around them.'
As with every edition of the famous winter ball, La Liga and Serie A will also be introducing their own personalised versions of the ball.
The Ordem V will be in use across the league until March 28, when the clocks go forward and the winter period comes to a close, and the league will then revert back to its original white design.
