The use of VAR in the Premier League could be changed in a move which will impact Liverpool and Everton .
Sky Sports are reporting that football lawmakers are reviewing whether to allow any communication between the referee and VAR to be heard by fans during matches.
This comes on the back of complaints from supporters on the use of VAR this season.
Everton's 1-1 draw at home to Manchester United was the latest match to have a heavily debated VAR decision. Dominic Calvert-Lewin's injury-time effort was denied due to the presence of Gylfi Sigurdsson on the floor in an offside position, with the midfielder adjudged to have impacted David de Gea's sightline.
From the constantly long waiting times to a lack of clarity of decisions, it's now thought that lawmakers are eager to appease fans.
The Daily Star have reported that 'as of February 27 there had been 83 total overturns, 21 of which leading to goals and 44 chalking them off'.
The change could lead to supporters hearing the discussion between the on-field referee and the VAR official at Stockley Park on loudspeakers in the stadium, therefore making fans more aware of decisions.
Former Premier League referee David Elleray recently gave his view on the use of VAR this season and told Sky Sports about what needs to happen next.
“I think most people would say that it hasn't been a howling success," Elleray told Sky Sports.
"But many lessons have been learned and those lessons will be put into place next year.
"I think we've been aware, over the last four years or so, of VAR that any competition that has started using it, it hasn't always gone well at the beginning. They've adjusted, they've modified."

the referee should watch and make the decision himself and not puppet of FA seating to make decision in favour of some club

that will not improve anything, we want the refree to go watch the highlight himself and make a decision by himself not the cheaters behind the cameras. we want the ref to dictate the game, for those who are behind the cameras just to do what the referee is asking them to do, which side to adjust en so forth not them to mk decisions, in Italy the referee go to the camera observes thn mk the decision but why only in England the referee have to be told, ulter nonsense....
