According to Footmercato, Timber has looked ahead to Olympique Marseille's next season and hopes to contribute more goals and assists in the 2026-2027 season.
The Dutch midfielder said: "My goal? More goals and assists. I want the team to play well, especially at the Velodrome. We want to enjoy the game and bring joy to the fans. As for teammates, I'm 25 and used to seeing them leave.
Ethan Nwaneri is a player I joined with, and I like him a lot, but I know he'll leave.
Mateo Greenwood and I have a great relationship, and now I see him scoring brilliant goals at Fenerbahçe, and I'm happy for him too. I'll continue to follow them, just as I follow my friends at Feyenoord."
Timber also said: "I felt welcomed by the team when I came to Olympique Marseille, and this summer we will also warmly welcome new signings and help them settle in quickly. I'm not worried. Genesio is very clear about what he wants, both in terms of playing style and dressing room management. He is very experienced, and players who have worked with him give good feedback. For us midfielders, there are many combinations and options, and he will give us freedom within a clear system."
