Rafael Leao speaks out amid Chelsea links and jokes 'Serie A is very easy for me'

AC Milan star Rafael Leao has spoken out on a potential move to England amid links to a Premier League transfer.

The Portuguese, 23, has been linked with a move to Todd Boehly's big-spending Chelsea side.

And in an interview, Leao admitted he 'doesn't like the weather' in England, before joking about how simple he finds playing in Italy as Milan continue their push for a top-two finish.

Several top-flight clubs are weighing up a summer pursuit of the talented forward.

In the interview on YouTube, he began by saying: 'Serie A is very easy, yes it seems... Before reaching Serie A I was in France, where the first year was difficult. They came in hard.

'But when you're skilled, when you're faster, you can create and make a difference. The second year was much better and I grew a lot. I have to show the world what I can do on and off the pitch.'

And speaking ahead of the Rossoneri's return leg in the last-16 Champions League tie against Tottenham in London, he added: 'I don't like the weather there. I went shopping the first time I went to London.'

Leao then continued to reveal what he likes most about living in Milan, including the Duomo barber shop, the shopping centres, nightclubs, and food.

The 16-cap international has scored nine goals in 32 appearances in all competitions this season, and 36 in 147 in his four-and-a-half years at the San Siro since moving from French side Lille.

Stefano Pioli's side, who beat Atalanta 2-0 on Sunday to go third in Serie A, level on points with rivals Inter Milan in second, travel to Fiorentina on Saturday.
