While some of the Barcelona players won't have felt like doing much at all last Wednesday after the pain of their Champions League elimination against Liverpool, Ivan Rakitic made the most of his day off to travel to Seville.
It is currently the Feria de Sevilla, a festival in the city that Rakitic used to call home.
He caught up with Monchi, members of the Sevilla squad and Jose Maria del Nido, who put a photo of the pair on social media.
The Barcelona players have been given time off this week and won't return to training until 11:00 on Friday.

if your mid filed has no ball holding players like Arthur then other mid fielders do suffer. valverde used two defensive mid and hopes to defend the lead whole game and relied on counter attack. rakitic was not even involved in the first leg due to this kind of strategies. I think it's an error from the coach, not just two three players. Barca could have slowed down the mid by playing there natural game. even mo salah was not there in 2 Nd leg. so valverde should have played Nelson semedo in place of Roberto and Arthur in place of Vidal. how did valverde thought to stop mane with Roberto who can't match mane's speed

Offload Murrillo, Todibo and Vermaelen from defence and add De Ligt (alongwith Pique, Umtiti, Lenglet). Bring a flexible left full back like Tagliafico/Rose. Alba the first choice at left and Semedo -Roberto -Wague will do good at right. Offload Rakitič from Rafinha from midfield, De Jong already coming.(Busquettes, Arthur, Aleña, Vidal, Puig). Offload Coutinho and Boateng from the forward line. Keep Suarez but treat him like irregular,he should be spending more times on bench. Dembele and Malcom must be well used alongside Messi. Messi can be the false 9 yet again. Sign a world class Striker in direct replacement to Suarez. Thank Mr.Valverde and offload him and bring a more attack minded manager.
