Rangers are closing in on the signing of Manchester City’s Brandon Barker.
The winger has spent the last four years on loan at NAC Breda, Rotherham, Hibernian and Preston, who were keen to take Barker back on loan but the 22-year-old is set to link up with Steven Gerrard’s Gers.
Barker doesn’t have to sign on deadline day - the Scottish window is open until September 2 - and isn’t expected to open a permanent contract at Ibrox until Friday.
