Rangers will have to make do without goalkeeper Allan McGregor for their upcoming Old Firm meeting with Celtic after he picked up a farcical red card in Sunday's win over Hibernian.
The club's first choice goalkeeper kicked the ball out of his hands before deciding to attempt a karate kick towards the back of Hibs striker Marc McNulty.
It was a moment of madness from the goalkeeper that unsurprisingly earned him an early bath.

McGregor didn't actually connect with the striker, who appeared unaware of the kick as he jogged back towards his own goal. But referee Bobby Madden nevertheless had no hesitation in brandishing the red card.
The ever-versatile Ross McCrorie was forced to go in goal as Rangers had already used their allotted three substitutes and the defender did brilliantly to preserve the clean sheet against the Edinburgh side.
